- This study aim at describing the kinds of pragmatic meanings and explain the implied meanings to value contain in Led Zeppelin‟s songs. The methodology of this research is qualitative research, it does not need statistic approach to analysis the data. The pragmatic meanings are focused on implied meanings, propositional meanings, and contextual meanings. In the data collection, the data was gathered by using library research in which the data was taken from book, websites, dictionary, and songs of Led Zeppelin. Sample of this research was taken by way listening the song and then doing a close reading of the song. The result of the data analysis showed that the most frequently used kind of pragmatic meanings was implied meanings. It is caused that most of the songwriter often convey his feelings, ideas, impressions, speculation, and opinion through his statement in which is richer meaning than what is actually said. The implied meanings also convey the value in Led Zeppelin‟s songs which are useful in life. The data analysis also directed to catch the ideas and messages of Led Zeppelin‟s songs related to values of life that are useful in our life.
