  • This study purpose determine the effect of the model Generative learning with techniques guided teaching for the ability to solve physics problems in class XI. This type of research is quasi-experimental with are search non-equivalent control group design. The population of this study is all students of class XI MIA MA Al-Falah Pancordao, Central Lombok. Sampling used atechnique saturated sampling so that the XI MIA 1 class was obtained as the experimental class and XI MIA 2 class as the control class. The experimental class was given treatment using the generative learning model with techniques guided teaching, while the control class was treated using Conventional learning models. Data on problem solving abilities were obtained using a descriptive test amounting to 6 questions that have been tested for validity, reliability and different power so that the results of the final test of problem solving ability were obtained by the control class average of 45.91 and 52.65 for the experimental class. The research hypotheses were tested by t-test polled variance showed that that H0 is rejected and Ha accepted bytvaluethe smaller by 2:18 ttable for 2:02 on a significant level of 5%, which means that H0 is rejected and Ha accepted. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Generative learning model with the Technique Guided Teaching on the ability to solve physics problems in class XI.
