- Television has today become important part of public needs. Current development of technology has brought impact on public accessibility to watch television. In fact, television can now be viewed by the public through different electronic devices. Easy access has made possible people to watch live programs, which can be accessed also by children. Importantly, they have become the subject who watches television to gain information, entertainment, and education. However, there are still a lot of broadcast contents that are not in accordance with children needs and criteria, not in accordance with norms in society. Broadcasting Law protects children against irrelevant broadcasting programs, especially mature matters. Nevertheless, the law has not yet been able to consequently implement. There are still many programs which are not in line with children needs. The law itself has been made to secure and provide society, especially children, with nice and friendly programs.
