Aims to improving the mastery of science learning materials on the properties of light through the method of Round Club Students Class V SD Negeri 010047 Sei Alim Ulu district Air Batu academic year 2016/2017. This classroom action research is carried out in 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, action execution, observation and reflection. Classroom action research was conducted in class V SDN 010047 Sei Alim Ulu totaling 36 students. The subjects of this research are class V science teachers and students of grade V SDN 010047 Sei Alim Ulu, data collected through observation, interview, test, and study documentation.

Abstrak: Penelitian tindakan kelas secara umum bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran untuk peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri 010047 Sei Alim Ulu. Bertujuan untuk meningkatkan penguasaan materi pembelajaran IPA tentang sifat-sifat cahaya melalui metode Round Club siswa kelas V SD Negeri 010047 Sei Alim Ulu kec. Air Batu TP. 2016/2017. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Penelitian tindakan kelas dilaksanakan dikelas V SD Negeri 010047 Sei Alim Ulu yang berjumlah 36 orang siswa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru mata pelajaran IPA kelas V dan siswa kelas V SD Negeri 010047 Sei Alim Ulu, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, test, dan study dokumentasi.
