This study aims to determine the use of learning model Team Game Tournament (TGT) can improve student learning outcomes in class VII-A SMP Negeri 5 Gunungsitoli. The subject of this research is the students of class VII-A with the number of students 38 people. From the research results obtained after learning carried out the action has increased, ie in cycle I average value 63.8 with 62.2% complete learning. In cycle II the average grade value increased to 70.4 with learning completeness 80.6%. Can be concluded through the learning model team tournament game can improve student learning outcomes in class VII-A SMP Negeri 5 Gunungsitoli.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 5 Gunungsitoli. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan model pembelajaran Team Game Tournament (TGT) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di kelas VII-A SMP Negeri 5 Gunungsitoli. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-A dengan jumlah siswa 38 orang. Dari penelitian diperoleh hasil belajar setelah dilaksanakan tindakan mengalami peningkatan, yaitu pada siklus I nilai rata-rata 63,8 dengan ketuntasan belajar 62,2%. Pada siklus II nilai rata-rata kelas meningkat menjadi 70,4 dengan ketuntasan belajar 80,6%. Dapat disimpulkan melalui model pembelajaran team game tournament dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di kelas VII-A SMP Negeri 5 Gunungsitoli.
