- Abstract: The purpose of this research is to improve student learning outcomes using the mnemonic learning method. The subjects in this study were fourth grade students of SD Negeri 018456 Persatuan district Pulau Rakyat. Based on the results of the school action research conducted, the results of the study were obtained: (1) The results of the learning process after the Mnemonic method achieved an average score of 78.89 after being motivated by research through cycle II reflection and recommendations on average values reached 87.59 ; (2) Learning completeness in the first cycle reached 80.77% after the second cycle of reflection and learning completeness recommendations reached 96.30%. It can be concluded that using the mnemonic learning method can improve social studies learning outcomes of grade IV SD Negeri 018456 Persatuan district Pulau Rakyat. Keyword: mnemonic Abstrak: Tujuan dari dilaksanakannya penelitian ini untuk peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran mnemonic. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 018456 Persatuan kec. Pulau Rakyat. Berdasarkan atas hasil penelitian tindakan sekolah yang dilakukan, diperoleh hasil penelitian: (1) Hasil proses belajar setelah penelitian melalui metode Mnemonic mencapai nilai rata-rata 78,89 setelah termotivasi dilakukan penelitian melalui siklus II refleksi dan rekomendasi nilai rata-rata mencapai 87,59; (2) Ketuntasan belajar pada siklus I mencapai 80,77 % setelah siklus II refleksi dan rekomendasi ketuntasan belajar mencapai 96,30%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran mnemonic dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV SDN 018456 Persatuan kec. Pulau Rakyat. Kata kunci: mnemonic
