State University of Jakarta. 2020 This study aims to determine the effect of industrial work practices (X1) and soft skills (X2) on work readiness of students (Y) grade XII Accounting SMK Negeri 14 Jakarta. This research was conducted for four months starting from April to July 2020. The population of this study was 105 students grade XII Accounting SMK Negeri 14 Jakarta. The sampling technique uses random sampling with a sample of 83 students. Industrial work practice variable data (X1) was obtained from the documentation of student grades, while soft skill variable data (X2) and work readiness (Y) were obtained from the questionnaire filled out by students. Test requirements analysis is done by finding the multiple regression equation with the results Y = -11,105 + 0,457 X1 + 0,737 X2. The results of the analysis show: (i) There is a positive and significant influence between industrial work practices on student work readiness, (ii) There is a positive and significant effect between soft skills and student work readiness, (iii) There is a positive and significant effect between industrial work practices and soft skills together for work readiness. Based on the results of the analysis it can be concluded that Industrial Work Practices and Soft Skills simultaneously affect Work Readiness.
