  • IIS ISMAYA TININGSIH, The Correlation Between Compensation with Work Motivation of PT. Sarana Karyatama Mandiri’s Employee at Jakarta, January 2015. This study aimed to obtain the right data (authentic, true, valid) and trust worthy (reliable). The research was conducted at the Terusan Bandengan in Jakarta, for five months from August 2015 until December 2015.The research method used is survey method with the correlational approach. The population in this researchis the all employees in PT. Sarana Karyatama Mandiri, as many as 70 people. The sampling technique used in this study is simple random. The resulting regression equation is Ŷ= 47,32 + 0,02X. Test requirements analysis of the normality test error of estimated regression of Y on X to produce Lcount Liliefors test= 0,1191, while the Ltable for n = 36at 0.05 significant level is 0.1477. Because the Lcount < Ltable than an error estimated of Y on X is normally distributed. Testing linearity of regression produces Fcount < Ftable is 8,55< 4,13, so it is concluded that the linearequation regression. Hypothesis testing from test significance regression produces Fcount > Ftable which 8,55 > 4.13, meaning that the regression equation is significant. Correlation coefficient of Pearson Product Moment generating r xy = 0.448, then performedthe testsignificance correlation coefficient using the t test and the resulting tcount>ttable, tcount = 2,925 and ttable =1,67. It can be concluded that the correlation coefficient rxy = 0.448 is significant. The coefficient of determination obtain for is 20,10 %, which shows that 20,10 % of the variation of work motivation is compensation.
