Fakultas Ekonomi, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. This paper has a purpose to find out competence of employees in the training and development division of PT ASABRI (Persero). The method used is descriptive analysis by collecting data through literature study and observation. From the results of the study found that competence in carrying out his work depends on the knowledge and skills possessed. Employees must have good knowledge and skills in order to work optimally. However, in implementation there are still employees who less have competency well, so that there is a need for more solution and attention for the good achievement of goals. Keywords: Competence
