EFFORT TO IMPROVE LEARNING OUTCOMES WITH PEER TUTOR METHODS ON THE SUBJECTS OF MAIL HANDLING / OFFICE DOCUMENT CLASS XI ADMINISTRATION OFFICE 1 IN SMK NURUL IMAN EAST JAKARTA. Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Negeri Jakarta 2012. Low learning outcomes also experienced in all schools is one of these letter/document matapelajaran handling Office. Researchers chose this because matapelajaran matapelajaran mail handling/Office documents is a prolific on the direction the Administration matapelajaran offices. This research was conducted in order to be able to improve student learning outcomes. Therefore, the researchers applied the method of peer tutors to help students grasp concepts and in receiving material so that it can improve learning results for student learning. Class action research was conducted for 3 months starting from April until July 2012. The subject is a class act class XI Administration Office 1 SMK Nurul Iman Jakarta Timur, on the subjects of Mail Handling/Office Documents. The implementation of the actions as much as researchers doing 3 cycles. Each cycle consists of 1 sessions. As for the phases of this research in the form of a cycle that includes planning, implementation, observations, and reflections. The research results prove that the implementation method of peer tutors can improve student learning outcomes on the subjects of mail handling/Office documents. Based on the data obtained, the result of the acquisition of ketuntasan in classical learning first cycles reached 76%, whereas the increase in the second cycle reaches 83%, and increased by 93%. Therefore, peer tutor methods can be used on a letter/document matapelajaran handling Office.
