The aim of this study is to determine the effect of executive compensation and to operational efficiency on banking performance listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2014-2017. Independent variable of these study are executive compensation and BOPO. Dependent variable is Return on Asset (ROA) and Non Performing Loan (NPL). Researcher used data in this study from annual report of bank that published by IDX in 2014-2017 (156 observation). The sampling method of this study is purposive sampling technique. The research model in ths study used panel data analysis with fixed effect model approach. The empirical result shows that executive compensation has positive significant influence to ROA and has negative significant influence to NPL. BOPO has negtive significant influence to ROA and has positive significant influence to NPL. Key Words: BOPO, Executive Compensation, Non Performing Loan (NPL), Return on Asset (ROA).
