AS’AD SAMSUL ARIFIN. Analysis of the Effects of the Human Development Index and Open Unemployment Rate on Poverty in Indonesia. Economic Education, Faculty of Economic, State University of Jakarta, 2019. This study aims to determine the effect of the Human Development Index and Open Unemployment on poverty in Indonesia. The type of data used is secondary data about the human development index, the level of open unemployment and the percentage of poverty. Data analysis techniques using panel data regression analysis. Data obtained from 33 provinces in Indonesia. The results showed that the human development index had a significant negative effect on poverty. Meanwhile, the level of open unemployment has no significant effect on poverty in Indonesia. Keyword : Human Development Index, Unemployment Rate, Poverty
