  • PRATIWI DWI ARYANTI. The Correlation Between job stress With Organizational Commitment of PT. Niaga Swadaya in Jakarta’Employees, Jakarta. Study Program of Commerce Education, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. The purpose of this research is to obtain the empirical data and the valid and reliable facts on the relationship between job stress and organizational commitment at PT. Niaga Swadaya di Jakarta’ Employees. The research method used is survey method with the correlational approach. Population in this research is all of PT. Niaga Swadaya di Jakarta’ employees, where as the possible populations who employees of advertising division PT. Niaga Swadaya in Jakarta, amounting to 40 people. The technique which is used in gathering the sample was simple random sampling about 36 people. To capture data from these two variables are used questionnaire Likert scale models for Job Stress (variable X) and Organizational Commitment (Variable Y). Before the instrument is used to tested the validity for both variables. For variable X, from 26 points statement, after statement validated there are 3 points that drop invalid, while meeting the criteria or a valid statement consists of 23 points. For variable Y, From 26 points statement, after statement validated contained 3 points that drop invalid, while meeting the criteria or invalid items comprised 23 statements. Reliability calculation of both variables using Cronbach Alpha formula. The resulting of the regression equation is Ŷ=152,09-0,74X. Requirements analysis test of the normality test error of estimated regression of Y on X to produce Lcount lilliefors test=0,1477, while the Ltable for n= 36 at 0.05 significant level is 0.1401. Because the Lcount > Ltable then an error estimate of Y on X is normally distributed. Testing linearity of regression produces Fcalculated < Ftable is 2,01<2.12, so it was concluded that the linear equation regression. The hypothesis test from significance regression test produces Fcount > Ftable, which is 32.78>4.13, meaning that the regression equation is significant. Correlation coefficient of Pearson Product Moment generating rxy=-0,701, then performed the test significance correlation coefficient using the t test and the resulting tcount= -5,725 and Ttable=1,69. It can be concluded that the correlation coefficient rxy = -0,701 is significant. The coefficient of determination obtained for 49,08% which shows that 49,08% of the variation of organization commitment is determined by job stress.
