This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between parenting style and Achievement motivatiton at student grade X at SMKN 44 Central Jakarta. This study was conducted during the three months from May 2015 to July 2015. The method used was a survey with the correlational approach. The population is all student grade X at SMKN 44 Central Jakarta amounting to 179 student. Samples were all student marketing grade X 1 and 2 who have complete parent totaling 56 student. The samples are 48 student with the use of simple random sampling. The resulting regression equation is Ŷ = 25,09 + 0,68 X. Test requirements analysis of the normality test error of estimated regression of Y on X to produce Lcount Liliefors test= 0,0943, while the Ltable for n = 48 at 0.05 significant level is 0.128. Because the Lcount < Ltable than an error estimated of Y on X is normally distributed. Testing linearity of regression produces Fcount < Ftable is 1,03 < 2,04, so it is concluded that the linear equation regression. Hypothesis testing from test significance regression produces Fcount > Ftable which 5,52 > 4.05, meaning that the regression equation is significant. Correlation coefficient of Pearson Product Moment generating r xy = 0.327, then performed the test significance correlation coefficient using the t test and the resulting tcount >ttable, tcount = 2,349 and ttable =1,68. It can be concluded that the correlation coefficient rxy = 0,327 is significant. The coefficient of determination obtain for is 10,71%, which shows that 10,71% of the variation of achievement motivation is parenting style. Student achievement motivation at SMKN 44 Jakarta is determined by the parenting style of 10.71% and 89.29% of the rest influenced by other factors such as facilities and infrastructure, student learning interest, and negative association.
