Universitas Negeri Jakarta. This paper has a purpose to find out the process of the recruitment process of archivist in the Directorate General of Oil and Gas. Research metode that use is descriptive analysis by using data collection method through observation, and literature study. From the result of the writing about Directorate General of Oil and Gas experience the constraints of human resources in the archivist positions. This is because the process of recruitment and selection not optimal. To fix the problem of human resource management especially archivist positions can be done by planning process with recruitment and selection process of candidate. Key Words : Human Resource Management, Archivist.
