This scientific work aims to find out about the implementation of inactive archive retention at Employee Bureau at Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional (BKKBN), to find ou The method used in this study is descriptive analysis with data collection methods through interviews, observation, and literature. From the results of writing, it can be concluded that in implementing archive retention, an archive retention schedule is required which contains all information about archive retention. By adhering to this schedule, employees can manage records properly even though the employee is not an archivist. Key Word: Inactive Archive Retention, Archive Retention Schedule
