This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between Parenting Parents with Independence Class X in SMK Negeri 31 Jakarta. This study was conducted over four months from April to June 2015. The method used was survey method with the correlational approach. The study population was the entire class X in SMK Negeri 31 Jakarta as many as 168 students. The sample was all students of class X of Office Administration Department (AP1) and (AP2) at SMK Negeri 31 Jakarta as many as 68 students. The samples used were 58 people by using simple random technique. Data analysis techniques starts with finding a simple linear regression equation and obtained Ŷ = 19.98 + 0.61 X. Test requirements analysis that estimates the error normality test Y over X with the test Liliefors obtained Lvalue(0,0837) < Ltable (0,116). This indicates that the regression model with normal distribution. While the linearity of the regression test obtained Fvalue (1,42) < Ftable (1,87). It shows that the linear regression model. Test of hypothesis testing regression keberatian known that the regression model means Fvalue (10,53) > Ftable (4.01). of hypothesis testing with test product moment correlation coefficient of Pearson rxy = 0,398obtained, then this means there is a positive relationship between emotional intelligence with parenting parents. From the calculation of the t-test known tvalue = 3,245 > ttable = 1,67, so this shows that there are significant relationship (significant) between parenting parents with emotional intelligence. While the results of the calculation coefficient obtained value of 15,83% which shows that emotional intelligence is determined by parenting parents amounted to 15,83%. Results of this study have proved the existence of a positive relationship between parenting parents with emotional intelligence in class X in SMK 31 Jakarta. This means that if the higher the emotional intelligence of students it will also higher the parenting parents.
