  • The aim of this study is to determine the effect of Firm Size, Cash Flow, Leverage, Net Working Capital and Growth Opportunities to the Cash Holding on Indeks LQ 45 Listed by Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) Period 2012 – 2016, Independent Variable of these study are Firm Size, Cash Flow, Leverage, Net Working Capital and Growth Opportunities. While dependent variable is Cash Holding. The data used in this study is annual report of Indeks LQ 45 that published by IDX during 2012 – 2016. The sampling method of this study is purposive sampling technique obtained by 60 companies and consists of 300 observations. The research model in this study employs panel data analysis with Fixed Effect Model and Random Effect Model approach. The empirical result shows cash flow and net working capital have a positive and significant effect on Cash Holding pattern 1 and pattern 2. Leverage has a positive and significant effect on Cash Holding pattern 1, but Leverage has no significant effect on Cash Holding pattern 2. While firm size and growth opportunities have no significant effect on Cash Holding pattern 1 and Cash Holding pattern 2.
