Scientific Paper, Jakarta: Study Program of Economic Education, Concentration in Office Administration Education, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, January 2018 This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of parenting style and parents on students first level class at Vocational High School Negeri 50 Jakarta. This research was conducted for 7 (seven) months from December 2017 to June 2018. The research method is survey method with correlational approach. The population is students from X class which amounts to 143 students. The sample used 100 students and using the proportional random sampling technique. Variable Y (Academic Achievment) anda X2 (Parents Level of Education) data is secondary, while variable X1 (Parenting Style) data is primary using Likert scale. The data is tested for validity and reliability, and then analysis with multiple regression technique and classical assumption test. The data were analyzed using SPSS 24.0 version. The results showed there is a significant influence between parenting style and parents level of education on students academic achievement with a regression equation ̌ = 74,082 + 0,071X1 + 0,759X2 The results of F test in ANOVA table produces Fhitung 61,699> Ftabel 3,09, this means parenting style and parents level of education simultaneously positively influence the academic achievment. The t test produces thitung X1 4,486 > ttabel 1,984, because thitung > ttabel that means there is a positive influence between parenting style and academic achievement. And then thitung X2 8,545 > ttabel 1,984, because thitung > ttabel that means there is a positive influence between parents level of education and academic achievment. And then from the coefficient determination was obtained 0,560, which means there is an influence of independent variable on dependent variable in the amount of 56% and the remaining of 44% was influenced by the other variable who not be examined.
