  • MAYKEL DAVID, Relationship between Lifestyle and After Sales Service with Samsung Smartphone Purchasing Decision to Student of Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta in Jakarta. The research was conducted at the Faculty of Economics, Jakarta State University for six months starting from January to June 2018. The purpose of this research is to know the relationship between lifestyle and after sales service with the decision of purchasing Samsung smartphones at the students of Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. The research method used is survey method with correlational approach, the population is taken from the students of Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. The number of samples as many as 110 respondents were taken using purposive sampling technique. The resulting regression equation is Ŷ = 43,623 + 0,501 X1 and Ŷ = 59,612 + 0,313 X2. Test requirements analysis is using the test for normality and linearity. Test normality with Kolmogorov-Smirnov test with significance level (α) = 5% or 0,05 and yield significant level of Y value equal to 0,200, X1 value equal to 0,200, X2 value equal to 0,200. Because the level of significance of these three variables> 0.05 it can be concluded that the data is normally distributed and can be used in further analysis. Then t test and Y yielded over X1 tcount = 5.999 and ttable = 1.65922, Y over X2 tcount = 3.756 and ttable = 1.65922. It can be concluded that the correlation coefficient is positive and significant. The coefficient of determination Y over X1 is 0.250 which shows that 25.0% of purchasing decision variables are determined by lifestyle and the coefficient of determination Y on X2 is obtained at 0.117 indicating that 11.7% of purchasing decision variable is determined by after sales service.
