This study aims to describe the relationship patterns among variables to determine the magnitude of the direct and indirect effects of coal price variables, and the IJ-EPA (tariff quotas) policy on non-oil and gas exports to Japan. This research is a quantitative research using time series method. Data misuse using eviews. Methods of data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis which then processed with SPSS program. The results showed that coal prices have a positive effect on non-oil exports, and IJ-EPA policy has a negative effect on non oil and gas exports. this shows that coal price variables affect non-oil exports to Japan, and IJEPA policy has little effect on non-oil exports.
