This study aims to determine whether there is a positive relationship between the professional competence of teachers to student achievement at The Student Of Vocational School 10 East Jakarta. This study was conducted over three bualn commencing from October until December 2013. The method used was a survey method with a survey method correlational approach . The population of this study were all students Of Vocational School 10 East Jakarta and inaccessibility population are students of class X Marketing school year 2012/2013 , amounting to 75 students . Of the total population of the affordable sample of 58 students is taken . Sampling was based on a sample size determination table of specific populations with 5 % error level . The sampling technique used in this study is a randomized technique of proportional ( Proportional Random Sampling ) . Of the results obtained by a simple linear regression equation y = 66.55 + 0.129 X. Test requirements analysis to test the normality of the estimated regression error Y over X indicates that the estimated error Y over X is normally distributed . This is evidenced by the results of calculations which show that Lhitung ( 0,067 ) < Ltabel ( 0116 ) by using the Lilliefors test at a significant level ( α ) = 0.05 . In hypothesis testing , regression testing and linearity significance using analysis of variance table ( ANAVA table ) . Significance of test results obtained by the regression of F ( 20.70 ) > F ( 4.02 ) which shows that the mean regression . While the test kelinearan regression of F ( 1,07 ) < F table ( 2.08 ) which shows that the linear regression model were used . The correlation coefficient was calculated using the formula Product Moment and generate rxy = 0.520 , while the significance of test results ( using t-test ) obtained t ( 4.55 ) > t table ( 1.68 ) , it is concluded that there is a significant relationship between the professional competence of teachers to achievement student learning in Vocational School 10 East Jakarta. The calculation of the coefficient of determination shows the variation of 26.99 % student achievement is determined by the professional competence of teachers . The conclusion of this study is that there is a positive relationship between the professional competence of teachers to student achievement at The Student Of Vocational School 10 East Jakarta. This means that the higher the professional competence of teachers , the higher the student achievement at The Student Of Vocational School 10 East Jakarta.
