The purpose of this research is to get valid and reliable data about corelation between adversity quotient with achievement motivation. Data was collected from a survey of 226 Students of concentration in Accounting Education, 2009, 2010, and 2011 regular and non regular class. with a sampling using proportional random sampling technique. The survey was conducted by distributing questionnaires to a sample that has been determined. Score of adversity quotient was obtained by questionnaire development of Adversity Response Profile with Likert scale. Score of achievement motivation was obtained by administering a questionnaire with Likert type scale. Research samples was taken as 139 students. Regression equation in this research is Y = 72.20 + 0.40 X. From this equation test requirements analysis conducted by the normality test error estimate the regression of Y on X obtained by Liliefors Lo < Lt (0.0425 < 0.0751). It mean the data are normally distributed. On the meaningful of regression test we got the result Fh(42.47) > F t (3.91) which can be conclude that the regression model is means. As for the linierity test obtained Fh (1.46) < Ft (1.51), indicating that the regression equation is linear. The test results by using a correlation coefficient of Pearson product moment values obtained rxy = 0.48. This means there is a positive relationship between adversity quotient with achievement motivation of Concentration in Accounting Education Students, Faculty of Economic, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. From the correlation meaningful test calculations tcount = 6.52 > t table = 1.645 indicating a significant relationship between adversity quotient with achievement motivation. From the calculation results obtained 23.45% coefficient of determination so that it can be said that the adversity quotient has contribution on achievement motivation as 23.45%.
