- The purpose of this science Task is in order to know about the arrangement and realization of promotion cost budget in PT. Merpati Nusantara Airlines. Method that be used in this research is descriptive analysis by data collecting technoque which is primary and secondary data through direct observation . From the result of this research can be known whereas the management of promotion budget in PT. Merpati during the period of 2012 is classified effective and efficient without overbudget. Such result can be looked from the process of arrangement of budget by using the method of top – down From such method PT. Merpati Nusantara Airlines only use 3 methodnamely, the affordable method, percentage of sales, andreturn of investment.
