  • ABSTRACT Eko Andriawan, 2012; The Influence of Profitability, Leverage, Firm Size, Firm Age, and Proceeds on First Day Initial Return and Fifth Day Return of Non Financial Firm Listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange on 2004-2011. This research aims to examine the influence of profitability (ROE), leverage (DER), firm size, firm age, and proceeds on initial returns. Initial returns in this research are measured by the difference bet ween the firm’s stock price on the first day and return fifth days in the secondary market and its IPO. The research model in this study employs multiple linear regression analysis. The sample consist of 112 IPO non financial firms in Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2004-2011 were taken by purposive sampling method. The empirical result shows that profitability, leverage, firm size, firm age, and proceeds have no significanly affect with first day initial return and fitfth day return.
