The purpose of this research is to detect correlation between the placement of employees with work performance of employees in the Biro Kepegawaian Sekretariat Jenderal Kementrian Agama RI. This study was conducted over two months from April to May 2014. Research method used was a survey method with the correlational approach. The population in this study were all employees of the Bureau of Personnel Secretariat General of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, amounting to 240 employees, and the samples were used as much as 51 by using proportional random sampling technique. The instrument used to obtain the data variable X (Employee Placement) was measured using a questionnaire with Likert scale. For variable Y (Job Performance) is a secondary data obtained from the agency. Data analysis techniques starts with finding the regression equation obtained was Y = 57.33 + 0.163 X. The results of normality test Liliefors produce Lhitung = 0.088 whereas 0.124 Ltabel because Lhitung <Ltabel the variables X and Y are normally distributed. Testing the hypothesis by testing the significance of the regression F value of 21.28 and a yield of 4.04 Ftable. F value (21.28)> F (4.04) which means that the regression equation significantly. Testing linearity of regression produces the F table 2.20 while the calculated F 1.03. Of F (1,03) <F table (2.20) thus concluded that the linear regression equation. Product moment correlation coefficient test resulted in r = 0.550 count. Further test the significance of the correlation coefficient using t-test, produce thitung (4.61)> t table (1.68). Based on the results of these studies concluded that there is a relationship between the placement of employees with job performance at the Bureau of Personnel Secretariat General of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. With a coefficient of determination of test results obtained 30.28%, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between the placement of employees with job performance.
