The purpose of the research are: 1) To know description for leadership, motivation, and performance at Dinas Pendidikan Kota Bekasi. 2) To know the influence of leadership towards performance at Dinas Pendidikan Kota Bekasi. 3)To know the influence of motivation towards performance at Dinas Pendidikan Kota Bekasi. 4) To know the influence of leadership and motivation towards performance at Dinas Pendidikan Kota Bekasi. The analysis implemented in this research are simple regression and multiple regression analysis. The method of this research is simple random sampling, that took 42 employees at secretary depertment, data collected by using quitionaire and cultivated using SPSS 16.0. The result of t test for leadership is 4.264, and the signification is 0.000. This shows that there is a significant effect between leadership towards peformance. The result of t test for motivation is 3.274, and the signification is 0.003. This shows that there is a significant effect between motivation towards peformance. The result of F test is 9.766, and the signification 0.01. This shows that there is a significant effect between leadership and motivation towards performance. The result of R2 is 0.402 0r 40.2%. It means performance is affected by leadership and motivation as much as 40.2%. Keywords: leadership, motivation, performance
