  • ABSTRACT Wahyudiah Subekti, 2013; Entrepreneurial Self-efficacy (ESE), Ethnic, Gender and Educational Background : Case Study in Clothing Store Owner at ITC Kuningan, South Jakarta. The purpose of the reasearch are: 1)To know the descri ption about ESE clothing store owner related to ethnicgroups, gender, and educational background at ITC Kuningan, Jakarta, 2) Test empiricallydifference ofESE on Chinese and non Chinese clothing store owner, men and women clothing store owner, and clothing store owner who educated and not at ITC Kuningan, 3) Test empirically differenceof ESE on Chinese’s and non Chinese’s men clothing store owner, Chinese’sand non Chinese’s women clothing store owner, men clothing store owner who educated and not, women clothing store owner who educated and not, Chinese clothing store owner who educated and not, and non Chinese clothing store owner who educated and not at ITC Kuningan.. The analysis implemented in this research are descriptive and comparative analysis. This research is taken 118 cloting store owner at ITC Kuningan by using proportional stratified random sampling method. While data collection by using questionnaire and cultivated processed using Microsoft Excel 2007 and SPSS version 18.00 to test hypothesis using independent sample t-test method. The result showed that:1)There are differences ofESE on Chinese and local clothing store owner, men and women clothing store owner, and clothing store owner who educated and not, 2) There are differencesof ESE on Chinese’sand non Chinese’s men clothing store owner, men clothing store owner who educated and not, Chinese clothing store owner who educated and not, Chinese clothing store owner who educated and not, 3) There aresimilaritiesof ESE on Chinese’s and non Chinese’s women clothing store owner and women clothing store owner who educated and not, Keywords: Entrepreneurial Self-efficacy (ESE), Ethnic, Gender, and Educational Background
