This research aims to determine the influence of the variables level of education, Government expenditure education sector to economic growth in Indonesia. The research was done by considering the average value of the old school, government spending on education and regional gross domestic product per capita at constant prices in 2000. Particular the 2006-2010 period with the ex post facto method. Form research panel which is a combination of data from the form of time series and cross section. Data on GDP per capita at constant 2000 prices, and the average length of the school was taken from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). Government expenditure data on education data taken from the state budget revenue and expenditure (budget) for the education sector of the Indonesian Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia. Processing data using Eviews 6.0 program and Microsoft Excel 2010. Results of the analysis explains that the average rate of economic growth per capita in the period 2006-2010 are relatively low, amounting to 3.63. level of education is measured by the average length of school only to Indonesia in year 8 or in other words new to the class II SMP. Government spending Government spending on the education sector in 2006-2010 has increased each year. Based on the regression results, the level of education variables have positive and significant at the significant level of under 0.05, and the education sector, the government expenditure variable positive and significant effect on below the 0:05 to economic growth. F value count (2060.46)> F (1547) concluded that the two variables namely education and the education sector, government expenditure jointly affect Indonesia's economic growth. R2 value of 0.9981 indicates that 99.81% of Indonesia's economic growth can be explained both independent variables.
