  • ABSTRACT SEPTIA KUSUMA PRATIWI, Effect of Cost Promotion and Training Costs to Operating Income Islamic Commercial Bank and Islamic Business Unit in Indonesia in 2010-2012. Jakarta: Economic Education Cooperative Studies Program, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta This study aims to determine whether a significant difference between the cost of the promotion with operating income of Islamic banks and Islamic business units, with operating income training costs Islamic banks and Islamic business units in Indonesia. This study using inferential statistical methods and forms of descriptive quantitative research. Types of data used are time series data (time series) in the form of a monthly from 2010 to 2012. With secondary data such as promotional costs, training costs, and operating income of Islamic banks and Islamic business units which are all published by Bank Indonesia. Processing data using SPSS 18.0. Results of regression analysis showed that: (1) there is a positive and significant effect of the variable cost of promotion to operating income of commercial banks and Islamic sharia business unit, (2) there is a positive and significant effect of the variable cost of training to operating income of commercial banks sharia and sharia business unit, and (3) there is a positive and significant effect of the variable cost of promotion and training expenses to operating income of commercial banks and Islamic sharia business unit in Indonesia.
