  • ABSTRACT PUPUT EVIRA ISKARNO. The Effect of Education Level and Infrastructure To Economic Growth In Indonesia (2008 – 2012 period). Faculty of Economy State University of Jakarta. 2014. The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze the effect of education level and infrastructure to economic growth. Objects in this study is the number of workers by educational level attained at the highest levels of the SMTA as a data object from a variable level of education, length of roads per area of the province as data objects of variable infrastructure, and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) as the data objects of variable growth obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics. The scope of this study includes data from 32 provinces in Indonesia in 2008-2012, by combining data from the Riau Islands province of Riau Province in the data. The method used in this study is ex post facto method with multiple regression analysis approach. This study led to the conclusion that there is a significant positive effect between the level of education to economic growth. There is a significant positive effect between road infrastructure to economic growth, and at the same time, there is a significant positive effect between levels of education and infrastructure to economic growth.
