  • ABSTRACT Nenden Pratiwi. Relationship between Social Support of Parents With Learning Independence In Class X Social Science Students In SMA 102 Jakarta. Researchers aims fatherly determine whether there is a relationship between social support parents with learning independence in class X social studies in SMA 102 jakarta. This study was carried out in high school for 3 months starting in April 2014 to June 2014 research method used was a survey. The study population was all students of SMA Negeri 102 Jakarta. The samples used were 150 students using a sample census. In this study the hypothesis there is a positive effect between social support of parents of students with learning independence, higher social support of parents then also increase the independence of student learning. This hypothesis is tested by using analysis of the Pearson product moment correlation and t-test to determine the significance of the correlation between the two variables, and the coefficient of determination to determine the contribution of variable X on variable Y. Test requirements analysis is done by looking for the regression equation obtained was Y = 17.759 + 0,748X. Normality test results Liliefors produce Lhitung = 0 069 while Ltabel for n = 150 at 0.05 significance level is 0.070. Because Lhitung <Ltabel the variables X and Y berditribusi normal. Hypothesis testing with test produce regression of F (824.68)> F (3.92) which means that the regression equation significantly. Linearity test yielding regression of F (0,03) <F (1.45) thus concluded that the linear regression equation. Product moment correlation coefficient test produces rxy = 0.921. coefficient significance test is then performed by using the t-test produces t count (28,717)> t-table (2.64). The results of these studies concluded that there is a positive relationship between Social Support with Self-Reliance Parent Student Learning In Class X SMA 102 IPS in Jakarta. With a coefficient of determination or the determinant test results obtained 84.8% variable independent learning (Y) is determined by the Social Support of Parents (X).
