Tuty Sariwulan, M.Si This study aimed to investigate the effect of educational level and rate of economic growth on poverty in Bekasi The data used in this research is secondary data, the average length of schooling of the population aged 15 years and above, the data of GRDP Kota Bekasi and the data rate of poverty. Variables used in this study are poverty, education level and economic growth. The method used in this research is the method of ex post facto. The data analysis technique used in this study is to test the data requirements, the classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing, analysis of the correlation coefficient and coefficient of determination, processing using SPSS version 16. The results of the data analysis found that: 1) There is no the influence of education on poverty level is based on the acquisition value of t count >t table (4,507 > 2,20099). 2) There is the influence of economic growth on poverty based on the acquisition value of t count < t table (0,613 < 2,20099). 3) There is influence between level of education and economic growth to the achievement of economic study based on the acquisition value of F count> F table (50,835 > 3.7388). 4) Contribution influence the level of education and economic growth on poverty 88,5% and the remaining 11,5% is influenced by other factors.
