The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of corporate governance on firm value moderated by external financing needs of non financial companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2010-2015. This study uses 20 IDX companies` financial report. The research`s method uses panel data regression with fixed effect model approach. This study uses firm size, leverage, profitability, and LQ45 as control variable. The results of this study show that corporate governance does not significantly (insignificant) affect firm value. Meanwhile external financing needs moderating significantly the relationshi of corporate governance and firm value. Control variable leverage, profitability, and LQ45 has positive significant relationship on firm value. Other variable, firm size has a negative significant relationship on firm value.
