  • OVI ALVIONI. The Relationship between Emotional Quotient and independent Learning Student Class X Accounting and Bussiness Administration in SMK Negeri 11 Jakarta. Study Program of Economics Education,Consentration in Accounting Education, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta 2016. The aim of this research is to determine The Relationship between Emotional Quotient and independent Learning Student Class X Accounting and Bussiness Administration in SMK Negeri 11 Jakarta by using empirical data and facts are valid and reliable The research method use is survey method. The population in this study is students class X program accounting and Bussiness Administration in SMK Negeri 11 Jakarta as many as 140 people. The sample used as many as 100 people. The sampling technique in this study is proportional sampling. To get data from two variables, researcher using likert scale model for emotional quotient (variable X) and independent learning (variable Y) Regression equation in this research is Ŷ = 35,33 + 0,39 X. From this equation test requirements analysis conducted by normality test error estimate the regression of Y on X obtained by Liliefors.L count <L (0,0718< 0,0886 It mean the data are normally distributed. On the liniearity the regression test we got the result F count (1,30) <F table table (1,61) which can be conclude that the regression model is linear. As for the meaningful test obtained F count (26,29) >F (3,938), indicating that the regression equation means. The test result by using a correlation coefficient of Pearson product moment values obtained r = 0,4599. This means there is a positive relationship between emotional quotient to independent learning of students. From the t-test calculations obtained t = 5,127 >t = 1,98 indicating a significant relationship between emotional quotient (variable X) to independent learning (variable Y). From the calculation result obtained 43,07% coefficient of determination so it can be said that the variable Y independent learning is determined by the variable X emotional quotient of 21,15%. There is a positive and significant relationship between emotional quotient with independent learning. For further research is expected to add other variables such as self efficacy, self esteem the motivation to learn etc.
