BACHTIAR HIDAYAT, Influence of Gross Domestic Product and BI Rate Interest Rate Against Foreign Direct Investment Regions in Indonesia Year 2010 - 2014. Cooperative Economic Education, Faculty of Economics, University of Jakarta, in 2016. 

This research aims to determine whether effect of regional gross domestic product and the level of BI interest rate on foreign direct investment in Indonesia region in 2010-2014. The method used in this research is to use panel data method that combines time series and cross section. Time series data used in this study was in the year 2010-2014 and cross section data used are 26 provinces in Indonesia. The data used are annual data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics, the Investment Coordinating Board and Bank Indonesia. This study uses panel data
regression models with random effects models. Linear regression model used in this study is LogFDI = 3.220 + 1.086 + 0.103 LogGDP Rt. Results of the analysis showed partial regional gross domestic product and the level of BI rate is a significant positive effect on foreign direct investment in the area of Indonesia. The results of simultaneous analysis showed gross domestic regional product and interest rate BI together significantly influence regional foreign direct investment in Indonesia. Variation effects of both independent variables showed R2 value of
0.261790. Value shows 26% of variation in foreign direct investment areas influenced by gross domestic regional product and interest rate BI rate. While the rest influenced by other factors outside the research model.
