The purpose of this study was to know whether the influence of contextual Teaching and learning to students’ critical thinking ability on the basic of banking class in state of vocational school. This research was conducted of February 2017. The method of the research is quasi experiment. The sample population of research is 66 students. The experimental class consists of 33 students which are from X Accounting 2 and 33 controlled students are from X Accounting 1. Data obtained using on instrument is a form of questionnaire with likert scale for the variable X (students’ critical thinking ability). There are 30 statements, a valid statement as many as 27 items are valid and 3 items are drop. Then reliability process using cronbach alpha formula. The results of the X variable reliability is 0,884. This proves that the instrument is valid and reliable. The result of the normality of the data for the variable X 1 iv and X 2 generating L value < L table . It means that data were distributed normally. The results of homogeneity test data is F value < F table . It means that both the data have a homogeneous variance. Then test the difference between two average count obtained t value 1,878 dan tt able 1,684, then t value > t table . The results of these calculations can provide the conclusions of this study that there is influence of contextual teaching and learning to students’ critical thinking ability.
