- ABSTRACT MAGHFIRAH OKTAZANI. The Correlation between Social Support with Burnout on Nurses at Rumah Sakit Jiwa Dr. Soeharto Heerdjan Jakarta. Skripsi, Jakarta: Concentration Education of Office Administration, Program Study of Economics Education, Department Economic and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, 2013. This study aims to obtain accurate and reliable data regarding Social Support with Burnout on Nurses at Rumah Sakit Jiwa Dr. Soeharto Heerdjan Jakarta. The study was conducted over two months from May 2013 until July 2013. The research method used is survey method with the correlational approach. The population of this study are all nurses at Rumah Sakit Jiwa Dr. Soeharto Heerdjan Jakarta. Samples used as many as 100 nurses using simple random sampling. Collecting X variable data (Social Support) and Y variable data (Burnout), using likert scale model questionaire, before that it has construct validity test by validation process, that is correlation coefficient valuing score with the total score and reliability test using Alpha Cronbach formula. The results of the reliability of the variable Y (Burnout) is 0,86 while the reliability of the variable X (Social Support) is 0,94. Test requirements analysis is performed by finding the regression equation. The regression equation obtained is Y = 112,32 – 0,493X. Then, test for normality of estimated regression error on X by using the liliefors test at significant level of 0,05 and earned Lcount (0,074) < L (0,088). This means that the error estimated of Y on X is normally distributed. In hypothesis testing, regression coefficient significance testing using analysis of variance table (ANAVA) obtained Fcount (34,37) > Ftable (3,91) this means that regression is significance. From regression linearity test result is Fcount (0,99) < Ftable (1,61), this means that the model is linear. Product Moment Coefficient Correlation test produces rxy = -0,510. Results of significant test of correlation coefficients using t tests. The results obtained Tcount (-5,86) < Ttable (-1,66). The calculation of the coefficient of determination obtained 25,97% and the remaining 74,03% influenced by other factors. The conclusion of this study is there is a negative and significant correlation between social support with burnout on nurses at Rumah Sakit Jiwa Dr. Soeharto Heerdjan Jakarta. This means if increases of social support will reduce burnout.
