- ABSTRACT IIS SUGIARTI. Correlation Between Job Satisfaction With Absenteeism of PT Lubri Lab Indonesia employees at North Jakarta. Skripsi, Jakarta: Concentration of Office Administration Study Program of Economics Education, Department Economics Administration, Faculty of Economic, State University of Jakarta, 2012. The purpose of this research is to get a valid and reliable data or fact, to know more the correlation between job satisfaction with absenteeism of employee’s at PT Lubri Lab Indonesia. The research healed at PT Lubri Lab Indonesia for two months since November until December 2011. The method of research is survey method with correlation approach, and the data is got from instrument to employee at PT Lubri Lab Indonesia. The population research was all of employees with total 61 employees, with 51 employees for sampling and used proportional random sampling. Collecting X variable data (Job Satisfaction) and Y variable data (Absenteeism), using likert scale model questionaire, before that it has construct validity test by validation process, that is correlation coefficient valuing score with the total score and reliability test using Alpha Cronbach formula. Reliability X variable (Job Satisfaction) is 0,835. The analysis test by finding regression equation, that is Y = 7,64 – 0,07X.After that data normally test by using Liliefors formula and the result is L = 0,059 in significant level 0,05 and L table = 0,124, so L count < L . It mean that the mistake of prediction regression Y to X has normal distribution. For regression significance test and the result is F count table (16,30) > F (4,04). Showing that, it has significance regression. While regression linearity test, F (1,70) < F (2,00), showing that regression is linear. The result of product moment of correlation coefficient test, is r table = -0,500 continued by using correlations coefficient significance test with t-test. Counting result, t Xy = -4,04 while t table = -1,68 and so, -t count < -t table table count count count . It means that there are significance correlations between ob satisfaction with absenteeism. Besides that, the result of determination coefficient test is 26,47%, it means that absenteeism variable determined by 24,96% Job Satisfaction variable. The conclusion of the research have shown that there is a correlation between job satisfactionat with absenteeism PT Lubri Lab Indonesia.
