This is because farmers do not get information about cultivation technology innovation that is appropriate to the local agro-ecosystem. This paper discusses the dissemination and performance of rice cultivation technology innovation in several agro-ecosystems in North Sumatera in 2018. The discussion is directed at sosialization and technical guidance to Farmers and Field Agriculture Instructor and application of rice cultivation technology in the three types of land. The implemeted rice cultivation innovations include: (1) Jarwo Super technology in irrigated paddy fields in Pematang Setrak Village, Teluk Mengkudu, Serdang Bedagai District, (2) Raisa technology in tidal land in Sei Tuan Village, Pantai Labu, Deli Serdang District, and (3) Largo Super technology in dry land in Sena Village, Batang Kuis, Deli Serdang District, North Sumatera. From the result of the study, it can be concluded that interest and response of Farmers and Field Agriculture Instructor to technology innovation developed were quite good. They were eager to follow the technical guidance that took place at the assessment site. The highest result was obtained from the application of Jarwo Super technology in irrigated paddy fields about 10.50 ton/ha Harvested Dry Grain (HDG). The application of Raisa technology in tidal land produced 5,80 ton/ ha HDG and from the application of Largo Super technology in dry land about 2,65 ton/ha HDG.Keywords: Rice, cultivation, paddy field, tidal land, dry land&#xA0;&#xA0;AbstrakTeknologi budi daya padi yang berkembang di petani saat ini belum yang terbaik (best management practices) sehingga hasil yang diperoleh relatif masih rendah. Hal ini disebabkan karena petani tidak mendapatkan informasi inovasi teknologi budi daya yang sesuai dengan agroekosistem setempat. Tulisan ini membahas diseminasi dan kinerja inovasi teknologi budi daya padi pada beberapa agroekosistem di Sumatera Utara pada tahun 2018. Pembahasan diarahkan pada sosialisasi dan bimbingan teknis kepada petani dan Penyuluh Pertanian Lapangan (PPL) serta penerapan teknologi budi daya padi pada tiga tipe lahan. Inovasi budi daya padi yang diterapkan antara lain: (1) teknologi Jarwo Super pada lahan sawah irigasi di Desa Pematang Setrak, Kecamatan Teluk Mengkudu, Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai, (2) teknologi Raisa pada lahan pasang surut di Desa Sei Tuan, Kecamatan Pantai Labu, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, dan (3) teknologi Largo Super pada lahan kering di Desa Sena, Kecamatan Batang Kuis, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, Sumatera Utara. Dari hasil pengkajian dapat disimpulkan bahwa minat dan respon petani serta PPL terhadap inovasi teknologi yang dikembangkan cukup baik. Mereka bersemangat mengikuti bimbingan teknis yang berlangsung di lokasi pengkajian. Hasil tertinggi diperoleh dari penerapan teknologi Jarwo Super pada lahan sawah irigasi 10,50 t/ha gabah kering panen (GKP).
