- The research was conductedinthe village ofSidera, Subdistrict of SigiBiromaru, District of Sigi, in September to October2014.The aims of the research is tostudy theeffect of various rates ofnitrogenfertilizeron growth and yieldof mustard.This research wasarranged ina randomized block design(RBD) consistingof7 rates ofurea, that were: control(without fertilizer); 50kg/ha; 100kg/ha; 150kg/ha; 200kg/ha; 250kg/haand300kg/ha, each treatment was repeatedthreetimes so that there were 21 unitsexperiment. The results ofthis study showed that the ureafertilizer application has very significant affect ongrowth and yield ofmustard plants (plant height, number of leaves, fresh weightanddry weight of plant)and the best rate ofureafertilizer can be achieved at the rate of 200kg/ha.
