- High production of cloves in Manimbaya village has not been necessarily guarantee the high income of its farmers due to the price of the product received by the farmers is lower than that paid by the consumers. The research’s purpose was to determine the income obtained by the clove farmers in Manimbaya village of Tanjung Balaesang of Donggala district. It was carried from October to December 2016. The respondents were 30 farmers selected by a Simple Random Sampling technique from the clove farmer population of 90 households. Data were analyzed using Income analysis (p=TR–TC). The income of the farmers generated from the clove farming system was IDR 66,474,160/1.5 ha/harvesting season (HS) or IDR 44,316,106/ha/HS. The total cost spent was IDR 14,620,506/1.5 ha/HS or IDR 975.004/ha/HS. The average revenue generated by each respondent was IDR 70,145,000/1.5 ha/HS or IDR 46,763,333/ha/HS. These results suggest that the clove farming system should be sustained.
