- This study aimed to assess the characteristics of mango plants based on their leaf morphology and anatomy in the Moahino and Solonsa villages, Wita Ponda sub district of Morowali district. The morphological features were observed in the villages while the anatomical features were analyzed in the Biotechnology laboratory of Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of Tadulako University, from February to May 2016. The morphological parameters observed were plant age, plant height, stem diameter, canopy diameter, canopy shape and stem color. The anatomical leaf variables were observed on stomata size, epidermis size, stomata number, epidermis number, stomatal density and stomatal index. Results showed that the character of morphology and anatomy based on cluster analysis described in the form of a dendrogram accession are accession MH5, SL4, SL8 and MH12. Two accessions were selected based on the combination of the two villages are the accession SL4 and SL8 with the lowest density of stomata.
