- This research aimed at finding the effective concentration of soursop leaf extract to control S. exigua (Lepidoptera : Noctuidae) under shallot plantation. The research was carried out in Oloboju village of Sigi Biromaru sub district of Sigi district of Central Sulawesi province from March 2017 to May 2017. A randomized block design was used consisting of six treatments i.e. Control (A0), 25 ml soursop leaf extract/l water (A1), 50 ml soursop leaf extract/l water (A2), 75 ml soursop leaf extract/l water (A3), 100 ml soursop leaf extract/l water (A4), and 125 ml soursop leaf extract/l water (A5). Each treatment had three replicates, thus, there were 18 experimental units. Results showed that the average number of individual S. Exigua was 10.67 – 3.33 larvae/plot in the A5 treatment less than that in the other treatments when observed from week three to week seven. The treatments also significantly affected the intensity of the S. exigua attack under six observations. The wet and dry weight of the shallot production were 8.51 Tons/ha and 6.45 Tons/ha, respectively.
