  • The aim of this research was to map the condition of physical and chemical properties of soil in the village of Karya Mukti, district of Dampelas, Donggala regency. This research conducted from June to September 2017 in the Village of Karya Mukti, District of Dampelas, Donggala Regency. Analysis of physical and chemical properties of the soil carried out in Laboratory of Soil Science, Faculty of Agriculture, Tadulako University. The method used in this research was direct survey method in the field and was continued by making the map of land units by overlapping the map of slope and the map of land use using ArcGIS 10.1 application. Determination of soil sample location to be analysed in the laboratory was by determined intentionally (Purposive sampling) on each of land unit. The soil sample was taken and repeated 3 times on each land use. The data analysis was done using the descriptive method explaining a condition in the field based on soil characteristic on each land use then continued making the map of the research result (physical and chemical properties of the soil). The results of this research showed that physical and chemical properties was varied. Its soil permeability was classified “rather slowly” to “rather quickly” ranged from 1,87 to 10,54 cm/hour; bulk density of the soil had “medium” criterion; Its porosity had “good” to “less good” criterion; granularly structure; the texture of the soil was dominated by sandy loam and silty loam; organic matter percentage of the soil was ranged from 3,35 to 11,53% so that it was classified “medium” to “very high”; degree of acidity (pH) of the soil was acidic and slightly acidic; Its soil cation exchange capasity (CEC) had “low” to “medium” criterion and was ranged from 6,60 to 24,60 cmol(+)kg g-1; Phosphor (Phosporus Availability) was valued “low” to “medium”. The use of forest land, plantation, paddy field and different slope affect the physical and chemical properties of soil.
