- The research aimed at determining the income of lowland rice farming in Towera village. Thirty three farmers were selected as respondents by a census method. The respondents were those farmers who practices direct planting in their lowland rice farming system. The average rice yield produced under the land area of 0.99 ha was 1787 kg. At selling price of IDR 7000/kg, the total revenue generated was IDR 12,515,151. Therefore, with the total cost of IDR 4,840,878 the income created was IDR 7,674,274/0.99 ha for one planting season.
