Daftar Isi:
- Mango kweni is one kind of mango that grows widely in Central Sulawesi particularly in Morowali district. The research aimed at studying the viability and the vigor of three different accession of kweni mango (Mangifera odorata Griff.) growing in Bahomohoni village of Morowali district. This research was conducted from April until July of 2017 at the Seed Science and Technology Laboratory and the Experimental Field of Agriculture Faculty of Tadulako University. This research was carried out in two stages: the first was to test the viability of the mangos using a completely randomized design and the second to test the vigor of the mangos. The second experiment was done in the Experimental Field by growing the mango seeds that had been selected from the Bahomohoni village using randomized block design. Bahomohoni 9 kweni mango accession has the best average values of such parameters as seed germination of 90%/week, maximum growth potential of 100%/week, plant height growth rate of 6.4 cm/week, leaf number growth rate of 2.7 leaves/week, stem diameter growth rate of 3.9 mm/week, triangle width of stamina of 316.4 cm2/week, and hypothetical vigor index of 7.3/week.
