- This Research was conducted at Prof.DR.H.Aloei Saboe Hospital. The aims of this research was to determine the effectiveness of the use of oxytocin induction to ward labor post mature at Prof. Dr.H.Aloei SaboeHospital Gorontalo 2016. This research was used Survey Analytical research where the respondents were selected by using Taro Yamane formula with purposive sampling and assessed through the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results showed that mothers were in post maturity is most effective used of oxytocin induction they are 25 respondents (71%), while ineffective are 4 respondents (29%). Based on statistically test results that used SPSS version 16 obtained the p-Value 0.003 < ?0.05, means statistically there was significant correlation between the effectiveness of oxytocin induction to ward labor post mature.
