  • The availability of climate data is very useful in analyzing climate elements in relation to the agricultural activities. Generally, availability of the climate data in Indonesia is inadequate andit mostly provides in the form of monthly resolution data. A developed method to address the availability of climate data in a daily resolution had already been set up at several regions of Indonesia. Therefore, this research was aimed to apply the Epstein method with the aim to generate the climate data in daily resolution at Manokwari. In order to examine the accuracy of output data resulted from Epstein method, the actual data were plotted against the Epstein method data. Based on the trial results, th eplotted climate data for 5 climate elements, namely length of radiation, maximum, minimum, mean air temperature, and air humidity in 10 years showed a similar pattern. It indicates that the Epstein climate data method can be applied in Manokwari.
