  • This study was to reveal the design of  crossflow grain dryer base of fuzzy logic controller and to optimize control for temperature to reduce of  water content. The control system design used software fuzzy development generation and VEDCLEMPSWINS, and hardware module microcontroller VEDCLEMPS. The result of water content measurement for maize based on the result of comparison crossflow dryer base on fuzzy logic controller and oven on the temperature setting point 40oC show that deviation standards are 4.02%wb and 3.66%wb, for the temperature setting point of 50oC, the deviation standards are 3.99% wb and 3.85%wb, and on temperature setting point of 60oC, the deviation standards are 4.07% wb and 3.76%wb. Consedering the three treatments, it is revealed the difference or error between the two the devices is completely small.
